Summer Wellness Protocol

☀️

Heat-Resilient Herbs for the Warm Months

As temperatures rise across Europe, traditional cooling herbs take center stage. Our summer protocol focuses on diaphoretics, cooling bitters, and adaptogens that support the body's thermoregulatory response without suppressing natural sweat function.

  • Hibiscus sabdariffa — cooling sour refrigerant for hydration support
  • Mentha × piperita — digestive cooling and tension headache relief
  • Schisandra chinensis — heat-adaptogenic support for energy
  • Rosa canina — vitamin C-rich immune preparation for travel season
  • Matricaria chamomilla — evening wind-down despite long daylight hours

How We Document Every Plant

01

Botanical Verification

Every monograph begins with taxonomic confirmation using The Plant List and World Flora Online databases. We document Latin binomials, accepted synonyms, and common names across European languages to prevent dangerous misidentification.

02

Literature Review

We systematically search PubMed, Scopus, and the Cochrane Library for peer-reviewed studies. Each monograph cites primary sources — not secondary blogs — and includes study design, sample size, and funding disclosures where available.

03

Traditional Context

Ethnobotanical data is drawn from established pharmacopoeias (ESCOP, WHO, German Commission E) and verified traditional use records. We distinguish between historical use and evidence-based claims.

04

Safety & Contraindications

Every entry includes drug-herb interaction data, pregnancy/lactation warnings, and toxicity thresholds. We cross-reference with the European Medicines Agency's herbal community monographs for regulatory alignment.
